• Adaptive Reuse & Innovation in Housing Supply - by Zain Ahmed

  • This report will look at the current state and city incentives in Massachusetts and Boston for office-to-residential conversions, such as Boston's program offering a 75% tax abatement for 29 years. The report will also compare these programs with those in New York and offer a proposal to incentivize the conversion of newer, post-war buildings with centralized cooling and large floor plates.
